Educational Mission Statement
To increase the understanding of the true costs of using fossil fuels on both our economy and our environment. To continue with a “Business as Usual” approach for using traditional energy sources will be more expensive now and greatly increase our expenses in mitigating climate issues in the future. We can grow our manufacturing, economy, exports, and reduce our bottom line today. All of these will result in a larger taxable base that can reduce our national deficit. The biggest obstacle for moving forward with renewable energy is the lack of understanding of the economical options that exist today.
Goals
- Work with educational institutions to increase student, faculty, and staff understanding.
- Develop professional development opportunities for educators to provide usable case study activities for students to learn about energy options.
- Work with local and state governments to provide presentations and workshops that increase awareness and understanding of existing energy choices.
