About Dave Wilms
Dave Wilms started in his mission of sustainability and energy efficiency when he was at Indiana University in the 70’s. He designed a passive solar house for a graduate class and was also interested in Purdue University Energy Efficient House Project called “Griffin One”.
He has a passion for learning how nature can show us how to best use the laws of physics to maximize the resources around us. Living things have never wasted energy or water for long because those organisms would have gone extinct. Humans now must step up the process of using resources and energy wisely.
Dave Wilms will be a major team player in our countries transition to sustainability and the new Green Economy for the 21st century. He will work to establish Schools, businesses, and Communities to become models of best sustainable practices. He will assist in the application of new renewable energy systems and automation technologies in our communities.
He desires to develop sustainable building and transportation systems to become the focal point in communities and increase the publics’ participation in such pursuits. Establish new relationships between high schools, trade unions, businesses, and institutions of higher learning as collaborative teams for expanding opportunities for renewable energy and sustainable design.
